Who am I?
Coming from dual cultural heritage (German-Japanese), I serve my clients as Executive Coach and Organisational Change Consultant. I founded my independent practice Naomi Israel Consulting, which is based in Zurich/Switzerland, in spring 2022. The 20 years prior, I held diverse roles as senior leader in change and transformation mostly within international financial services, heading teams up to 50 employees. I worked for Germany’s and Switzerland’s largest banks, geographically moving from Germany to Singapore to Switzerland.
For my clients, I leverage my professional experience and cross-functional academic foundation, most recently the Executive Master in Change from INSEAD. I am a professional coach, accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Since 2022, I am a member of ISPSO, The International Society for the Psychoanalytical Studies of Organizations.
As very proud mother of two teenage boys and partner in a patchwork family, I have navigated though numerous, mostly rewarding ups and downs of juggling many parallel priorities related to work, children, family, and self.
What are my core values?
My core values are Trust, Creativity, Learning, Sustainability and Empathy. These values matter throughout my collaboration and intervention with my clients.
What does a ‘safe space’ really mean?
As a general principle, a strictly confidential, trust- and creativity-based, engaging, professional client interaction is committed throughout my client interventions. This is even more important, as the systems psychodynamic lens and socioanalytic methods are selectively used to complement more traditional coaching and consulting methods. The ‘safe space’ allows my clients to explore, access, reflect, and associate conscious and unconscious experiences in context to the self, group, and organisation.
